The distinctive Qwerky illustration style was inspired by the simple filled in shapes found in a stained glass window. The initial sketches led to an alternative approach to Christian greetings cards by combining traditional messages with contemporary images, appealing to buyers of all ages. Now the Isobel’s distinctive Qwerky style has been used for a series of distinctly British regional collections.
Amanya
Inspired to create designs for furnishing fabrics, Anna Brewin chose to train as a textile designer in Yorkshire. Today, she creates her new collections under her own Amanya brand. Her portfolio has expanded into other areas including surface pattern design, graphics and branding.
Bonzo the Dog
Bonzo was created by George E. Studdy when he was drawing cartoons for The Sketch Magazine in 1922. We worked with Bonzo’s last owner to see how we could apply our skills to relaunch Bonzo’s career.
Mabel Lucie Attwell
Mabel left her archive to a family business, Lucie Attwell Ltd. In 2008, they approached us to act as their Licensing Agents. So Mabel was the first legacy property we represented. Our work continued until February 2013 when her great-grandson took on the licensing agent’s role.

The Quilters’ Guild of The British Isles have a collection of historic and contemporary quilts. They approached us at Brand License Europe, when they were exploring licensing opportunities for the first time.
